Luigi Mangioni, the gunman who murdered Brian Thompson, the CEO of United Health Care, is the poster boy of privilege. Valedictorian of his high school class, two engineering degrees from an Ivy League school, wealthy family, and blessed with good looks. What was his motive? Poverty? Racism? War? Homophobia? Islamophobia? The Military/Industrial Complex? Attention Deficit Disorder? Drugs? Depression? We have a lot to choose from in this woke and divided world.
Evidently, he was angry at Thompson because health insurers deny claims, leading to suffering and death. Mangione hates capitalism in general and the health care systm in particular. He referred to corporate entities as "parasites" and stated that they "had it coming,” because they valued profits over patient care. Violence he said, was the only way to bring about change.
Thanks for that refresher on Marxism, Luigi. Demonize the evil factory owners, call for a violent overthrow of the existing order to create the perfect egalitarian society, workers of the world unite, throw off those chains blah, blah, blah.
Mangione acted alone, but the murder unleashed a torrent of raging anger. Tens of thousands of people expressed support or at least sympathized with the killing. Social media was deluged with support for the killer and even elation at the murder. A tribute to Thompson online shamefully received 90,000 laughing emojis. Posts on X included 180,000 likes and 24,400 restacks. “…people wonder why we want these executives dead,” Taylor Lorenz, a former New York Times and Washington Post journalist, wrote on Bluesky. She defended Thompson’s murder and compared him to serial killers, citing, once again the tiresome lament about the separation between “the ruling class” and “the working class.” She told TV host Piers Morgan that she felt “joy” over Thompson’ murder.
Joy?
Equally outrageous, Julia Alekseyeva, an assistant professor of English and media studies at the University of Pennsylvania, described Mangioni as the “icon we all need and deserve.” She describes herself as a “socialist and ardent anti-fascist.” Antifa, lest we forget, is an organization of anarchists who thrive on chaos, as seen during the George Floyd riots.
GoFundMe was deluged with collections in support of Mangione. "Legal defense for he who shall not be named wink, wink," read one of the pages. "I am supporting Luigi Mangione” read another. "I hope to get him the help he will need in this upcoming trial. He will need all the help he can get and I hope he can be comfortable dealing with this hardship in life."
"We are raising funds to support a critical legal defense in the fight against unchecked corporate power and a system that continues to favor the few over everyone else. This case isn't just about one individual—it's about challenging a status quo that protects the interest of the powerful at the expense of justice and fairness."
GoFundMe quickly removed the post.
These statements are the latest incarnation of Marxism: oppressors and oppressed, rich against poor, justice against injustice, and powerful verses powerless. Spread the wealth Marxism will NEVER go away. It demonizes the so-called oppressors as evil exploiters; it empowers the have-nots, justifies violence, rationalizes theft, and provides a platform for virtue signaling. It enters “any means necessary,” territory, justifying revolution, arson, destruction, and murder. Power to the people. Death to those who disagree.
It's a wonderful feeling one gets, challenging the status quo, supporting the poor over the rich, the weak over the strong, truth to power. The devil himself seems to be handing out halos to the divisive useful idiots.
Meanwhile, back in New York, Daniel Penny was found not guilty of any chargers in the killing of the drug infected Jordan Neeley who threatened to kill subway passengers
As Penny approached the courthouse, an intense, pounding mob chanted one word about fifty times.
GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!
The jury disagreed.
Sara Newman, director of organizing at the Open Hearts Initiative, said: "Jordan Neely's murder is the direct result of efforts to dehumanize and demonize New Yorkers who are experiencing homelessness, living with mental illness or just existing in the world as Black and poor."
Welcome to Marx’s world where everything is interpreted through the distorted lens of oppressors and oppressed. No nuance.
It doesn’t matter that witnesses on the subway testified they were frightened; it doesn’t’ matter that Neeley had forty-two prior attests, that he was on drugs, that he was schizophrenic, that he ranted “someone’s gonna die,” that two other male passengers who helped subdue Neely were black. For prosecutor the only relevant factor for District Attorney, Alvin Bragg and the mob was that the oppressor were white, and the victim was black. Again, no nuance, only division, self-righteous indignation, the promise of retribution, or as Mangione said, “they had it coming.”
So does Mangione.
From where does all this derive? Luigi is part of a generation that has been infantized, pampered, raised without consequences, never struggled, provided safes spaces to help them cope with the normal ups and downs of life. In 1960, the proportion of 18- to 29-year-olds living at home hit a low of 29%. It rose steadily to 36% in 1990, to 38% in 2000. Today, census data reports that 50 percent of the 18 – 24-year-old demographic, is living at home. How many of them could use a bracing sense of purpose against an oppressor?
· According to a 2020 statistic, university professors donated to Democrats over Republican candidates by a ratio of 95 to 1. Democrats outnumber Republicans by a ratio of nearly 9 to 1 among college professors. These left leaning professors at the University Indoctrination Centers, are teaching your children about oppression. (Source new statistics ). “There is little hope of balanced or objective discussions in fields like economics and industrial relations, much less sociology, history, and gender studies, if all the professors are left-wing and Democratic,” said Brooklyn College Associate Professor of Business Management Mitchell Langbert. “The same goes for teaching.”
· Professor Alan Charles Kors of the University of Pennsylvania suggested that the message students are receiving is that "America is an almost uniquely iniquitous place in the world, without opportunity, legal equality or justice." All whites must be taught that they are racist and oppressive; they must feel guilty about it; they must purge themselves of their "internalized oppression;" they must be "reeducated. "
· The Office of Multicultural Affairs at Syracuse University says that its role "is to provide the... leadership needed to encourage our students...to grow into individuals willing to take a proactive stance against oppression in all its shapes.”
· Films depicting industrial leaders, corporation executives as greedy, evil, underhanded murders have replaced Nazis as Hollywood’s favorite villain. For at least a generation, Hollywood’s villains have gone from Nazis to American corporate executives.
· Since the 1960s corporate America has been depicted as evil. On December 3, 1964, student radical, Mario Savio, looking for a demon to destroy, set the tone.
There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all.
It distills down to the same tiresome, virtue signaling, divisive, Marxist religious creed:
Oppressors: Bad guys. Thompson and Penny
Oppressed: Good guys. Drug addled schizophrenic threatening to kill people is a good guy. A twenty-six-year-old rich kid murders a CEO is a good guy.
Champions of the oppressed: Noble fighters for all that is right and proper on the outside. Visceral rage on the inside.
These people are dangerous ideologues. They fabricate devils, then derive joy from their murders. They cannot be reasoned with. At the very least, they shouldn’t be teaching our children.

Here is a prediction made with 100% certainty. In the coming days and months, Luigi will be deluged with letters from young women who find him cute. They will send him provocative pictures, want to meet him, support him, see the good in him. Control/click here for further explanation CON MEN PREY ON NEEDY WOMEN - by Fred Singer - CRISIS

I had a co worker who years ago while in the Marine Corps had been sent to Liberia to help train government soldiers. He said that when he got back to America he got down on the ground and kissed the dirt. These kids have no idea if they think the US is the worst country. How much do they believe this stuff, and how much do they just need a cause?
Countries are usually in trouble when a large proportion of young men are unmarried, that's probably why the wild west was wild.
Go Fund Me would not allow donations for the Kyle Rittenhouse defense fund.
Rittenhouse and the five rules of propaganda, from my essay on propaganda:
Rule 1: He crossed state lines and went to a rally for minority rights and shot three people, killing two. It was left for the casual listener to assume that he shot three innocent black protesters rather than three white criminals. Little if any mention of the attempts on his life, or that Kenosha was being burned and looted.
Rule 2: He was white and carrying a rifle so must have been a racist. Even the president of the U.S. Called him a white supremacist with no evidence.
Rule 3: There has been a cultural attack on the right of self defense in general since the Clinton administration, if not before. The culture as a whole is constantly called racist and fascist.
Rule 4: He received no fair consideration from the main stream media or the prominent. A situation was created such that all were expected take the side against him so as not to be considered a fascist. His legal team was even barred from using GoFundMe, and people lost their jobs for sending money to his defense fund.
Rule 5: The negative message was all one would here. Jokes were made at his expense.
There is an admonition in the Bible; woe to those who call good evil and evil good. Those who practice the five rules of propaganda should be wary of oncoming woe.
